Cape Agri Holdings said input costs rose ahead of inflation over its financial year, driven mainly by fertiliser and fuel, according to results published on Tuesday.

The group reported revenue growth of 6.8% and said margins compressed slightly as a result of the cost pressure. According to the results, it maintained its dividend.

Cape Agri Holdings said it has increased forward cover on key inputs for the coming season.
