According to Bizcommunity, Collabstr has integrated Snapchat creators into its marketplace, allowing brands to find, hire and manage them alongside creators on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and other platforms.
Snapchat is now a significant channel for younger consumers. The platform says its users account for 32% of consumer spending in the United States, up eight points since 2020, and one in four Snapchatters are 35 or older. Juliet Merson, head of creator business partnerships at Snap Inc, notes that the audience is broader than many marketers realise.
How the new workflow works
Collabstr pulls Snapchat’s native analytics, views, average view time, returning viewer rate and CPM (cost per thousand views), into its dashboard. Creators list fixed rates, so brands see the price before committing. Payments are held in escrow and released once deliverables are approved, with invoicing and tax compliance handled by Collabstr. Brands can also add creators they already work with to the same dashboard at no extra cost to the creator.
Kyle Dulay, co-founder of Collabstr, says the goal is to give any brand a single place to search, see published rates and receive payment protection, regardless of the platform or audience. The service is free to browse and join; brands pay the creator’s listed rate plus a platform fee.
Collabstr already serves 480,000 brands and one million creators across 180+ countries, ranging from small businesses to large enterprises. By adding Snapchat, the platform aims to close the gap for brands targeting Gen Z and Millennials, a segment that accounts for a growing share of spend.
For South African SMEs, the move could simplify influencer campaigns on a platform that reaches younger consumers without the need to manage separate contracts or payment systems.
